Allergy Stack - (Main)

Bone, Cartilage and Joints Stack by Ancestral Supplements

For relief from seasonal (and food) allergies, histamine intolerance and frequent bacterial infections, look no further than the Allergy Stack. Kidney, Thymus and Spleen are incredibly powerful glandulars that together deliver the most critical nose-to-tail building blocks to calm the body's inflammatary response. This product stack can also be enhanced by incorporating the cold shower practice (as discussed on our About Us page —  GET COLD...) to build biological resilience and upgrade the immune system by increasing glutathione (our master antioxidant) and decreasing inflammatory markers.

Kidney is known for its remarkable ability to soothe food allergies and intolerances — especially histamine intolerance. In mammals, histamine can be inactivated either by methylation of the imidazole ring nitrogen, catalyzed by histamine N-methyltransferase or by oxidative deamination of the primary amino group, catalyzed by DAO. For these reasons, certain glands such as kidney (and even thymus) that support methylation (w/ endogenous methyl groups, B12, folate, selenium, etc.) and contain the DAO enzyme should be considered first in line to support histamine health. Take 1 - 3 capsules ten minutes before a histamine-rich meal to achieve optimal results.

To a very large extent, the health of the thymus determines the health of the immune system. Individuals who suffer from seasonal allergies typically have impaired thymus activity. Thymic extracts have been shown to normalize and modulate the ratio of T-helper cells-to-suppressor cells whether the ratio is low as in AIDS, chronic infections and cancer, or high as found with allergies and autoimmune diseases like psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis. In other words, thymic factors appear to balance the immune response up or down as needed. The thymus also contains unique peptides such as thymosin, thymopoietin and serum thymic factor to regulate, strengthen and support immune health.

Spleen is nature's richest source of heme iron and contains unique peptides such as tuftsin and splenopentin which have been shown to enhance and modulate immune health. Since tuftsin stimulates macrophages and other defensive cells, it comes as no surprise that tuftsin deficiency is linked to bacterial infections. Spleen extracts and splenin (a peptide hormone from spleen) further support immune health by increasing neutrophils and macrophages.

Most customers tolerate our supplements without incident; however, approximately 5 to 10% of customers (usually with an autoimmune condition) may experience a detoxification reaction. Detoxification reactions go by many different names including healing reactions, healing crises, cleansing reactions (or) Herxheimer reactions with hallmark symptoms of nausea, headache, lethargy, dizziness and other flu-like symptoms. In this instance, detoxification reactions are generally an indication that detoxification pathways in the body are back online... cells suddenly have an opportunity to release an even greater than normal quantity of stored toxins, metabolic wastes, pathogens, and unwanted material.

A detoxification reaction is more likely to occur when starting with the full suggested serving size of 6 capsules per day. If you know that you are sensitive to supplements and/or you have an autoimmune condition, you may wish to start slow when adding this product to your current regimen. Tolerability can be greatly improved by starting with just 1 (or) 2 capsules a day and increasing by just 1 capsule every couple of days — this method may take a full few weeks to achieve the desired serving size of 6 capsules per day.

If you know that you're ultra-sensitive to supplements, email us and we'll do everything we can to help.
